It was an extremely early morning. We left the house at 6:15am to help with the registration set up for the Bay to Ocean Writer's Conference. That meant an alarm going off at 5:00a.m. Derby and Julep asleep in our cozy bed didn't know what to make of this rude awakening. Once registration was over I came home. Feeling guility, I took them for a ride to St. Michaels for a walk. My clean westies came home full of mud after having a good old time ... guess it's a small price to pay for waking them up at o'dark thirty!
Things we take for granted living in a historical town.
We spent a few minutes talking and sniffing.
Walking in St. Michaels wasn't enough exercise.
We needed to check the driveway before coming in to dry off and get clean.
