The watercraft displayed at the 23rd Annual Antique & Classic Boat Festival are some of the lucky few that have survived or been rescued from neglect by amateur and professional craftman in the Chesapeake region and beyond. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is host for this event which takes place every year on Father's Day weekend. Julep & Derby had a good time walking around and seeing the boats, and even though we went late in the day, it was still a little warm for our westies.
How beautiful! One of my dreams is to be able to live on the edge of the Chesepeake - I don't think it will happen, but it is still one of my favorite places to look at!

Great photography. What kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Even in the heat. Thanks for letting us tag along.
