 Our mantel this year is plain and simple.

 While out to dinner the other night I spotted this outside tree.

Big lights were all you saw on holiday trees when I was little.

I still love the look of these big multi-colored lights.

 A boat in the harbor all decked out in holiday lights and decorations.

 We have some amazing sunrises and this is one of them.

 The solid blue is a cloud front ... above ... the breaking sun.

 I have to wonder what goes on in Derby's little mind.
