Catching Up On Sewing

 We had a great Easter ... how about you?
We took the westies for a car ride & walk on the nature trail in town
{photo's on Tuesday}, did a little yard work,
and finished a few dresses I started several days ago.
We haven't seen our resident bunny so I assume he really
was the Easter Bunny and he went off to deliver
what Easter Bunny's deliver.
 Here Kitty-Kitty Dress
 Spring Has Sprung Dress
 Ladybug & Daisy Summer Jumper
{I need fabric for a matching blouse}
 The Katie Dress
{from the pattern my sister purchased}

Scrapes of Fabric Leftovers
My scrap box of fabric was starting to overflow.
{I don't like to waste fabric.}
 In quilting I discovered you can purchase pre-cut fabric
in jelly rolls, layer cakes, charm squares
and fat quarters {to name a few}.
These pre-cut fabrics  can be expensive but they are real time
savers and are accurately cut to start your project
immediately. With all my leftover fabric I decided to start
cutting 2-1/2" squares and put them in a box.
There is more fabric to cut before I start sewing these little
squares together {but this is a nice start}.
I'll make a doll size quilt or another scrappy quilt in the future.
By the way ... I did receive an e-mail
that MCKENNA has been shipped!
