Watching The Derby Then Out To Dinner On Our Last Night In Duck

Saturday was our last night in Duck and it was
amazing how quick the week flew by.  Of course,
we had to watch The Derby [and some of the pre-Derby
shows].  We're also looking forward to
the next race in the Triple Crown which happens to
be run in our state of Maryland.
After watching The Derby [and glad we didn't bet any $'s]
we left the westies home and we went out to dinner at a local
restaurant in Duck called Blue Point.
Wilson made the comment that this is as
close as he'll get to the Derby this year.
If you ever find yourself in Duck I highly recommend
that you give Blue Point a try for lunch or dinner.
Blue Point is also a great place to have
dinner while the sun sets for the day.

 Reservations A Must!
 Our dinner was yum-yum!

Earlier in the afternoon we took the
westies for a walk.  Since it was so hot and no breeze
everyone was glad to get back to the car and a/c.
Derby found the shade right away.
And that walk pretty much wiped them
out for the rest of the afternoon until
it was Derby time and dinner time.
