Sewing, Sewing & More Sewing!

Just realized I haven't updated my blog on all the
completed holiday sewing photographs ... so here they are.
Everything you see has an American Girl
doll just waiting to try these on.

The doll nightgown and the little girl
size quilt top [below] are on their way to our
granddaughter Kaitlyn in California.
Derby makes the final inspection to be sure
the decorative buttons are secure.
The buttons are hard to see but look at each square corner.
The colored sparkle buttons were tied on for a little added whimsy.
I love this quilt top - especially the navy fabric & shells.

The holiday candy fabric I found in PA with my sister.
It's rich looking yet makes a fun little dress.

So now it's back to sewing more outfits.
I have 2 boxes to fill and mail by next week then I'm done!
Happy Holidays!

  1. I just love the doll clothing! You do such beautiful work. I am making clothes for my granddaughter's dolls and was wondering...what pattern did you use for the candy dress? You make so many wonderful dresses with that pattern and each one seems so different with all the different trims and fabrics.
