I gave Derby the job of deciding what set of dishes we should use
for our dinner party on Saturday evening.
Okay Derby ... you did great so take the rest of the day off.
Julep picked out the 'Julep Cups' for the table flower arrangements.
Setting a festive mood.
Since we haven't had snow this year I hung big
foil snowflakes above the dining room table.
A simple centerpiece of silver sparkle trees and
gold star votive candles.
I love to set a nice ... yet fun ... tablescape.
I found the placemat's at Pier One.
They will work nicely for Valentine's Day.
Traditional holiday poppers are fun for after dinner.
The red shimmering sacks are 'guest gifts' of
chocolate pieces to enjoy on the ride home.
An arrangement of carnations, baby breath & mums are
placed in silver julep cups.
Have a great day ... it's now time to go back
to prepare for our Saturday dinner party.
Blimey set another place we are coming over. What is on the menu is our next questions? Looks lovely. Have a fabulous Friday.

What a beautiful table. Love the centerpiece
ReplyDeleteSimply divine! The theme of the table setting is very ‘Christmas-y.’ The ornaments bring out the true holiday feel of the celebration. I just hope you washed the plates Derby picked for this occasion. LOL! =D
