An Afternoon with Gail & Wyatt

Tuesday I had lunch with my friend Gail and her dog Wyatt.
We met at Ava's in St. Michaels and sat outside on the back
patio so Gail could bring Wyatt.  J&D stayed home with Wilson.
Side note ... I received the big 'sniff-over' when I got home
and those clothes went right into the washer.
Ava's offers a 'doggie lunch' menu and Wyatt had a big
bowl of grilled chicken breast, steamed white rice with
chopped carrots and a few peas thrown in for added color.
Wyatt looks ready for his afternoon 'after lunch' nap.
 Wyatt is 2 years old.

After lunch we went for a walk around town which is
basically the same 'route' Julep, Derby & I take.
This cherry tree is on the grounds of Christ Church and I took
it while still walking.  It's pretty darn good for a walk & snap pic.

Wyatt decided to make himself right at home on this porch.
We realized there was a big yellow lab on the other side of the door
that we couldn't see but Wyatt knew was there.  Just like
J&D these small dogs are fearless!
....
Have a grand spring
day in your 'hood
