Oystermen in the Creek

I was wondering why Julep {then Derby} went nuts barking
at the yard.  Who in their right minds would be out in this
weather harvesting oysters!
I'm guessing this brings in a fairly good buck.
Oystering by our dock [and along the shoreline] ticks us off
but there isn't a thing we can do about it.
Bye ... Bye
They saw me with the camera and decided to head over
to our neighbors to check around his dock pilings.
Wanting to keep you updated on the number of day.
While taking pictures of the oyster boys I spotted two nests
in the tress tops along the shore line.  We all know this is
a nicely made squirrels nest ...
... but Wilson and I don't have a clue as to what bird
made this type of nest.  I'm reaching out to my local
eastern shore friends for help.
Hawk?  Egret?  Eagle?

  1. K., I'm not an expert but I don't think it is either an eagle or an osprey because the ones I've seen are much more compact. Possibly a hawk--I hope others have more insight.
