Completing Projects

I've been extremely busy taking advantage of all the rainy
days.  Over the past several weeks I put together six (6) quilt tops.

It took me several days to put these together meaning ... picking
the backing fabric, cutting the batting, spray basting the three
pieces together, quilting them, and making the binding for
the finishing touch.  Gosh, that's a lot of work!
The westies ... waiting - hoping ... a dog come by.
Did I ever show you my sewing room?  The beautiful wood
tables were made by Wilson for his workshop in Bozman ...
but they are mine now.  Wilson cleverly cut a hole in the table
for a small trash can.  You won't believe how handy this is to
toss small scraps and threads into.  The sewing room in the new
house is bigger than this room but it doesn't get the natural
light like this room does.  Different house, different model
and layout.  Oh well, you can't have everything!
Three finished, pressed, and put away.
This owl quilt be will going to my friend Katie to
give to her grandson for Christmas.  I need to make the
grand daughter a quilt and I'm thinking of using
the leftover fairy fabric for that one.

This fairy quilt will be going to Marinna who is our
next door neighbors grand daughter.

This quilt is destine for a westie rescue group auction.

My brain finally woke up with how I could make two matching
pillowcases if I only had one yard of the main fabric leftover
from a quilt.
Well ...
my break time is over as I have three more quilts to finish.
I also am toying with the idea of learning how to make a
tuffet.  There are kits which include everything so
all I need is the skill set.
...
Little Miss Muffet
Sat of a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a spider,
Who sat down beside her,
And frightened Miss Muffet away

  1. It took you several days? That would have taken me several years....lol They all look great. Good idea with the hole in the table for a garbage can. That would be convenient
