Waiting for Company

Wilson was in the mood to bake a turkey so we decided to have
a little dinner party and invite two couples from the neighborhood.
I love to set a festive table no matter what the occasion is.

I get more compliments on these little
Halloween guys ... I would love to find more.

The guest gift bags were filled with little bars of
chocolate, bags of M&M's, Lindt Lindor chocolate
Caramel balls and a few mints.
As usual I didn't have time to take photo's of all the food.
It was our normal offering ... turkey, mashed potato's, corn
pudding, tossed salad, stuffing with cranberry and apples,
sliced honey wheat loaf bread and for dessert we had
The Biltmore Vanilla Bean Cheesecake topped with
fresh blueberries and strawberries.
Everything was excellent!
 Derby ... the party's over.
I have the trick-or-treat bags all ready made up for next
week.  Right after Halloween I'll start pulling out Xmas
decorations but won't have everything decorated before
we head to the Outer Banks for a week vacation.
