Derby is happy working on his bone underneath my sewing station
as I hurry and finish the project I'm working on.

Wednesday is my instructional introduction to my Berina B380 sewing machine.
I still can't figure out how to use the automatic threader and maybe in this class it will sink in!
Derby looks so sad as I pack my sewing machine in its proper roller bag.
Class begins at 10am and runs until 3 with the second class scheduled on Friday.
This is a 4 piece evening wear outfit I completed today.
The set includes: a long skirt, short skirt, top and shawl
...
The rest of my week is going to be crazy.
My sister Debby and my Mom will be here on Thursday night. They are going to take my nephew out to lunch in Salisbury on Friday while I go to my second Bernina class. In between all this ... it's cleaning the house and baking cookies so they can give to Billy as part of his birthday present from Julep & Derby. I'm thinking of making chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, and almond spritz cookies. This is his first year sharing an off-campus apartment with three other guys, so I'd better bake enough for him to share. I'm also hoping we get in at least a few hours of sewing time on Friday night and Saturday morning before they head back home.
All the best,
Katie

Holy cow...you do have a busy week upon you! Sweet little Derby does look sad, but he'll have a little nap and you will be back before he knows it :)

You are always busy! I don't think derby wanted you to go. He looks sad. The outfit is so pretty! Have fun!
