Julep couldn't be left out while I was taking pictures
of my latest and greatest sewing projects.
Careful Julep ... you might get sewn into a dress!
American Girl Tote Bag
For the little girl who enjoys traveling with her doll.
Derby gave me the 4-paws up as his way of
approving of my latest sewing project.
These are the beginning of the AG totes I'm
making for my sister Debby. There will be a total
of 9 when I'm done. This is a nice way to use up a
lot of fabric which in turn leaves room to buy more!

The pocket which holds the American Girl doll.
I couldn't help add a fancy trim across the top.
I had enough of this fabric to make two bags plus
the items below. This fairy tote bag has been mailed
out to our grand daughter [Kaitlyn] in California.
I think she's going to love it!
These items went in the box also [minus the doll].
Fairy Party Dress
Derby ... don't worry ... all these will be gone
in October ... then I can start all over again.
Remember I had said I was going to relocate all the
clothing into a larger dresser? Well, as you can see
that didn't happen and the mound of clothing
keeps getting taller and taller. [Each drawer
is stuffed with clothing also!]
So, technically I'm not a hoarder because
I sent this box out to Kaitlyn today.
I'll be at my Quilting Guilds Community Outreach
BBQ and Sew-in on Wednesday. I'm making
mini-blueberry muffins to go along with morning
coffee and for lunch Wilson has made me a batch of
his famous and sinful Kentucky Corn Pudding.
Those bags are fantastic! I like the goodies that go inside, too....
