What's Up? Eastern Shore and What's Up? Annapolis
announced [in the August issue] the winners of the
Chesapeake Sunrises & Sunsets
photo contest and Wilson's photo was named in the
3rd Place winner category.
... Wilson wrote the following description ...
"Sunrise taken at 7:49a.m. in November 2011, from the shore through
a low fog resting on Leadenham Creek {off Broad Creek and
the Choptank River}, in Bozman, Maryland {Talbot County}.
The fog masks the horizon line between sky and sea, light
and dark, during a rising tide."

Congratulations to Daddy Wilson From Derby
{Wilson hasn't been contacted by the magazine so
we don't have a clue what prize he won.}
Finally ... Arrived
The new Nikon D800 camera arrived at our door.
Wilson placed his order for this new 'big boy' camera
when it first came out in February. The demand
was so great he finally got it!
We love our Nikon camera's but Wilson will be
selling his D300 in the near future. If anyone should
have an interest, please let me know.
Enjoy your day.
A big congratulations. Enjoy.

Wow, very nice! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. You've got the greatest camera of them all. I envy you. I use the D300 too right now, but I would like to have a full frame body because I still have a big collection of good Nikkor lenses from the film era waiting for a rivival.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Wilson. With that new camera he'll be getting many more winning photos
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Wilson! I have a photographer son. I know he would love to have that new camera!
