Tryin' to get them treats!
Derby saw I put their favorite treats
on the table by grand mom's phone.
Our afternoon show.
Derby does his balancing act
what poise - what talent.
Derby made himself right at home
taking over grand mom's chair and
positioning his butt on her heating pad.
Julep on the other hand didn't care
about the treats I had for them
but right for the jar full of
jelly beans.
For Me?
Julep this isn't for you ... this is grand mom's
birthday present - your birthday isn't
for a few more weeks.
Mom's birthday cake.
I just realized we didn't
have candles on the cake.
My Mom ... aka the Birthday Girl
Cutting the cake.
The westies had just a tiny, tiny
little treat of cake and icing.
My sister & my partner in fabric shopping.
Next trip to the Amish countryside
to search for spring/summer fabric
is in 19 days.
Debby's husband Bill recovering
from shoulder surgery.
My dad ... enjoyed having the family
there to celebrate Easter.
I think Wilson had one too many
Mary Sue Easter Eggs & now he's
on a sugar high. Thank goodness
I was driving home!
I'm not sure what was going on in this
photo that made my mom laugh.
Could be Julep was licking the
icing off her fingers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a great week ahead.
Katie
What a great celebratory day! That cake looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you and your family!!! I like to get to know the bloggers I follow, and now I feel that I know you more. I have seen quite a few Westies, but Julep and Derby have the silkiest fur I have ever seen. I love the picture of your mom laughing!!! You and your sister look so much alike!!! So tell us, do the names of your dogs refer to the Kentucky Derby, and why?
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a very nice Easter with family. Happy Birthday to your mom
