3 Ducks & A Quilt!

 Derby's look ... after he's been barking his head off at the ducks.

 A complete mess which is Derby's doing.  When he gets excited (or mad) he

 pulls out all the bedding by the window (He must get this from his

Dad's side because Julep doesn't behave this way).

Of course, it's the ducks that are causing all this mayhem.

 Julep on high duck alert!

 A new quilt pattern I tried and made for Jay.

 He's 11 and the big brother to Faye.  She received

her quilt a few weeks ago and since I didn't want Jay

to feel left out I made him this quilt.  

 Since Helen (Jay's mom) told me he likes fishing with his dad 

and that Jay also likes stripes ... I found the perfect set of fabric

for his quilt which took on a nautical theme.

 I'm not sure how excited an 11 year old will be receiving

a quilt ... but I had fun making it.
