An arctic air mass found us and it's freezing outside
but the westies don't seem to mind and they actually love the cold.
But don't worry ... I limit their time outside and when they
come in I have a warm blanket straight from the dryer ready.
Julep ... being a westie is hard work.
Not to worry Derby's blanket is nice and warm also.
Last night I finished hand-sewing the binding around my
holiday quilt. All the block fabric represent the ladies
I did a fabric exchange with through two Facebook
quilting groups. Wilson didn't care for this when I was
putting it together but he liked the finished quilt.
The quilt back ... trying to use more fabric.
I still have a stack of 2-1/2" Christmas strips
left so I'm working on another scrappy quilt.
What's missing ... Derby!
The fireplace mantel decorated.
My mom gave me the westie for our tree but this
year I decided to place it here.
Julep & Derby have read all of these books!
Keep warm
&
Have a great day
Stay warm and cosy and we'd love a book on 1000 ways to get more treats. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly.
:D I think Julep and Derby might be a bit more spoiled than Bonnie Blue….
ReplyDeleteLook how cute (Julep, I think) is in the red blankie! So cute….
Duke seems to prefer the colder weather over the heat but even so he hasn't been staying out too long since it's gotten real cold.
