A little dusting of white stuff and Talbot County schools
are closed ... so that means no quilters meeting today.
I got a little ahead in the area of packing boxes which
allowed for some bonus sewing time. This Valentine's Day
quilt is for grand daughter Kaitlyn in Southern California.
I'll post a close up when I finish ... I just need to add the binding.
This one is for Cole {Kaitlyn's brother}. I didn't want to make
him a 'girlie' quilt for Valentine's so this is what I came up with
The binding planned is red with gold hearts but I know he
won't even notice. Cole starts T-ball in the spring.
In winter {here on the eastern shore of Maryland} we
have fields with fake geese and fields full of real geese.
I wonder ... can real geese spot the fake geese and
somehow know there might be a hunter near by?
... as of this writing ...
