Dinner at the Ocean Blvd Bistro & a Few Other Adventures

 I made reservations for just us last night at the

Ocean Blvd Bistro in Kitty Hawk, NC.  We found this

restaurant last year and I have to say it was as 

exceptional then as it is now. 

 Wilson decided on a Bloody Mary and I

decided on trying a martini from the suggested list.

 It was really really good!

 I wanted the recipe so I took a picture of the

menu for the list of ingredients.

 I should have taken a photo of all the courses with

my camera but I didn't ... the desserts were excellent

as to be expected!

 This afternoon we put the westies in the car and

went to John's Drive-in for lunch.  John's is a local place

known for fresh fish sandwiches, burgers, and handmade milk

shakes.  We ran into our friends Katie, Charlie, and Roxy

there as they were just finishing up lunch.  We're going to 

see there rental tonight before we all go out to dinner at Paper Canoe.

 Wilson gave the westies a taste of his fish.

 After lunch we drove to the beach [by a previous rental] on

Olde Duck Beach Road.  The westies had a good time on

the beach sniffing and dashing away from the ocean waves.

Crashing after the big afternoon out.  I'm letting them take

a nice nap before I throw both of them in the shower for a

wash.  At least I can get one layer of pollen out of 

their fur and clean the sand from between the pads.

We are all having a nice and relaxing vacation.
