I've been on a mission to complete a bunch of lap quilts.
I was simply tired of looking at the stack on my 'unfinished' table.
I may get one more sock monkey quilt out of
the left over fabric from this one. I don't know what it
is but both young and old love sock monkeys and
these quilts are always a big hit in the rescue auctions.
A simple back fabric.
Oh ... how I love this one!
The back fabric works well with the front. This one is
going to be hard to part with.
I'm guessing I didn't have the right lighting so this
photo didn't turn out very well.
Vintage Christmas ornament fabric for the backing.
Made using all batik holiday fabric.
This fabric has over print patterns in gold and silver which
I find unique because batik fabrics are so casual.
Can you tell I like making this block?
This fabric is beautiful and I know who will
be getting this one as a surprise holiday gift.
This design was so simple to make and took hardly
any time to sew together.
I normally don't show the entire back fabric of my quilts
but wanted to share just this one. It's the back of the
nutcracker quilt above.
That's it for today. I'm ready for fall and already started to pull out
my autumn silk flowers. I'll change out the front porch
hanging arrangements after Labor Day.
All your quilts loo great. That snowman fabric you used for the back of the last one is so cute.
