Shore Thing: Some New Fabric

 My dear friend Vanessa sent me a Fed-X package with the

collection called "Shore Thing" by Blank Quilting.

 I love these surprise packages because it gives me 

the opportunity to work with fabric I normally

wouldn't pick to work with.

 I'm still debating on what to make with this panel.

 I received this package of fabric yesterday {Tuesday}.

 Today {Wednesday} I have the first quilt top done. 

 I have the back fabric picked out and now the next

step is to quilt and bind this.  I'd like to have this

done by the weekend so I can send photo's

to Vanessa to post next week.

I'm now working on a beach tote bag using a McCall's pattern

I purchased last year with the good intention of making

a tote to take on the Smooth Jazz Cruise.  That

never did happened.

We've been having lot and lots of rain and I am hopeful

that soon I can wear my sunglasses again.
