Monkey Business

 

Since the Monkey Business collection is so cheerful I decided to

start working with this first.  The cloth book panel ... I decided

to cut up.  An example of one of the blocks is #9.  Of

course I could have made it into a book but the object is to

show other options of what to make in addition of what the 

designer submitted with the line.

The book title page is Hungry Monkeys.  That is the

block Derby is half covering.

This top is now complete and I'll take photo's later.

Since I'm not using the fabric to finish the quilt back/binding

that gives me an opportunity to make more 'idea' tops

for submission.   I would guess I could get 3 more small

quilts tops from the rest of the line ... we'll see.
