Sewing for Outreach

I grabbed a stack of 6" blocks and quickly made an ISpy quilt
for Outreach.  What a great way to keep those leftover
blocks under control.
Here is the finish quilt minus Julep.
These are 8-1/2" squares cut from fabric that's been in
my stash for a year or so.  I had enough fabric to make
two quilts - each one had a different back fabric.
In between projects I'm still making small Xmas stockings.
You can see some of the holiday fabric behind Julep.
Completed stockings as of today = 225
The second quilt with a different back fabric.
Another group of fabric I pulled from my stash.  Since I
didn't have enough fabric to make this quilt a little
bigger I plan on adding a border around it.

This would be done if it wasn't for Julep.

Chris gave me a bolt of the multi-color swirl fabric to use on
the back of the quilts I was making.  With the odd size
leftover pieces I cut them into 8-1/2" squares, pulled
some fabric from my stash, and here we have another
quilt going to Outreach.

It's only fair to have a few pictures of Derby.
He's sleeping on a pile of quilts underneath my serger
table.  I think he's pretty comfy there.
Have a great weekeend.

  1. Look at that Derby. He wants to be right under you at all times, LOL!
