I'm Still Here!

 

It's been pretty crazy around here with Wilson's cardiac 

ablation at John Hopkins and Julep having a spine

issue and torn ACL ...  but I managed to do a little sewing.  

The star fabric was found during my last trip to Lancaster.  

I have 2 tops done and these will be going to Outreach.

At times I feel like mindless sewing so I turn to my leftover pieces.

These quilts are always fun little projects to make for kids.

I Spy Quilt

As part of the Brand Ambassador program through Jaftex

I had the option to use a set of Creative Grids on my

next quilt project.  The book has several interesting patterns.

The fabrics that came with the grids are blender which I have

the option of adding to the group of fabric I will be sent next.

Using the grids will be something new for me.  I'll be

trying a few practice blocks before I cut into the good fabric.

I really don't like making doll clothing but did a few

pieces to send to Avery Rose with her Easter quilt.
