Scrap Crazy 6" Blocks

I thought it might be a good idea to try working with
the Scrap Crazy 6" templates prior to getting the fabric
from Jennifer in April.  At first I thought it was a pain
in the butt to cut out all these pieces then sew
them back together but once I got into the rhythm
I really enjoyed the process.  When done it will be
headed to Outreach.  There are several quilt patterns in the
book that came with the set.  I want  to try them.
My next batch of free fabric should be shipped Fed-X on Friday.
I never know what collection will be coming my way so it's like
opening a Christmas gift.
UPDATE
While I was writing this post Fed-X dropped off a box with
my fabric from Jennifer.  That was really a nice shock.

I was sent 2 really nice collections to work with.
The first one is a fall theme collection called
"Autumn Splendor" from Henry Glass.

The second collection is
"Loving Camp Life" from Henry Glass.
These will be so fun to work with.
The Westie Foundation of America will be hosting a Facebook
fund raising auction in May.  I've committed to donating
4 quilts to the effort to raise money for research.
This is the first quilt I have done for the auction.
They like a good mix of dog and non-dog items
for folks to bid on.
Travel quilt back.
The center luggage block was made a few years ago and
was in my orphan box until the right time came to use it.
Personally I think it fits perfect on the quilt back.
This quilt will be given to someone who loves to travel the world.
This travel fabric was found in Lancaster on my last trip.
I think she will be totally surprised when I give
this to her.
