This quilt should have arrived at it's new home in
Conway, SC yesterday. Conway is home of an old
high school friend and when I was working with this
line I thought of her.
Conway is about 17 miles from the Myrtle Beach area.
This is a fun quilt to make but it's time consuming
to say the least. When I sent my pictures to Jaftex
I used oval heads from one fabric in this collection. After
that I removed the ovals and replaced them with the
cat heads [the cat head fabric is from a competitor of Jaftex].
I started cutting out a pattern with the fairy fabric
so that's what I'll be working with for. In the last
shipment with fairy fabric I received 2 other collections.
Yesterday I received two packages Fed-X from
Korea with 3 more collections - that's a total
of 37 yards. If I purchased 37 yards from
a quilt shop the approx. value would be $512.00!
Leftover blocks were added to the back for a little interest.
