Jumping Back to Halloween Then to Xmas

 

This pattern is called "Twister" and it's made using 2-1/2" strips of fabric.

It's pretty simple and you can make this pattern as large as you

like by simply adding additional border fabric.

I'm working on a second one - the middle 'twister' is the same

but I'm using what I have left over for the borders.

This is the first quilt top I made.

I started following a pattern but decided I didn't like it so

I added simple border fabric to the top and bottom.

These stockings are really really big!  I'm not sure what the

designer was thinking when she created them.  It would have been

better to have several medium size stockings instead of these.

From this line I also made 4 placemats, 2 napkins {that's all

the fabric I had leftover} plus 3 medium size stockings.
