Since last week we had company from our west coast family.
Carol takes lots of pictures. Behind her is grandson Nicky,
across from Nicky is grand daughter Casey who just graduated
from University of California {Long Beach} with a degree
in acting, then there is Wilson and me.
They rented a great house through VRBO in St. Michaels.
It's a 3 bedroom house that is pretty big and has a
wonderful screened in porch that faces the water.
Last night we went to Tickler's Crab Shack in
Tilghman Island. The food was excellent
and I don't say that often.
she is also a spin instructor [that pays the bills]
and is thinking of getting a certification to be
a yoga instructor. That's a 200 hour course.
work. She's a big time animation artist. A sample
of who she worked for: the Simpsons, Disney,
Nickelodean {Rocco's Modern World}
and her last job prior to the strike was on the
hit show Rick & Morty. Her art is amazing!
Nicky - his passion is ice skating and Carol takes
him to his sessions every day at 5:30 in the morning.
He just turned 16 so he will be learning to drive soon.
Being from the west coast they didn't know whatSmith Island Cake was so we ordered a slice.
power and sail boats. We ended the evening
with the bridge opening making it a true
Tilghman Island experience for the
west coast kids to remember.
