"Hay Day" from Henry Glass & Co.

 

July & August are Brand Ambassador challenge months.  

Jaftex gave us the choice to participate or not.

 I agreed to the challenge which was to choose any

of the free Villa Rosa Design patterns sent to us.

layouts with easy directions to follow.

"Hay Day" is a collection just released ... meaning

the sales reps can start selling it to quilt shops.

My fabric comes directly from the factory in S. Korea.

Once the containers are loaded on the ship, make the long

trip across the ocean, arrive at a U.S. port, go through

customs and get trucked to the warehouse all this takes a

good 2 months.  At this point the warehouse starts

filling orders and ships out to the stores.  It's an 

amazing process one that I never thought about before.

When I start working with fabric someone usually comes to mind.

With this particular collection I thought of {Lou} one of the ladies

in my guild who supports 4H.  I reached out and explained

what I had to do and asked if should would like to take

the tops and finish them.  She said yes!   That makes me

happy.  I have one top done - a second almost done and

I'm going to squeeze out one more top with a 3rd

pattern today.  She will get all this on Wednesday.
