Westie Needlepoint

Last night I started this westie canvas I purchased during the summer.

I love the lime green threads I'm using for the background. 

The metallic thread really makes the silk thread pop.  I know it's hard to tell from this photo, but you'll have to trust me.  Still thinking what thread I want to use for the face - maybe silk - maybe alpaca wool.
