Dinner with Friends

Last night Wilson & I met a group of friends for the official opening night of the Big Pickle.

We're sorry JoAnn's husband {Lloyd} couldn't join us.  We was off on a fishing trip hoping to catch the 'big one' to bring home.

Good luck Lloyd . . . we can't wait to hear the fish tales!

Crab fritters | citrus and chile

Duck wings | harissa bbq glaze, cucumber-mint raita

Fish n chips | fries, malt vinegar, bibb lettuce, pickled cucumbers, tarter sauce, maldo salt

Pappardelle bolognese | fresh pasta with sauce Bolognese, grana padano cheese

Truffled gnocchi | aged gorgonzola

Crabcakes | English peas, cucumber, sweet corn, tomatoes, spicy lemon dressing

Our next trip to the Pickle will be for lunch.

We were hoping the diner menu included some of the lunch sandwich items, but it didn't. Hopefully, in the future this will be considered ... but it was the official first opening night and I can understand why the menu was limited to dinner only items.
