Doll Dresses & Quilts!

Julep & Derby stayed home while I went to my second Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore meeting.  But before I get into that subject ... below ... is a sundress my friend JoAnn made for Molly, the American Girl doll.
JoAnn did an outstanding job creating the ladybug & dot sundress.
The back of the ladybug & dot sundress.
The addition of the light green accent bows gives this a real designer feel.
Thanks JoAnn for taking the time to make this for the Westie Foundation of America auction.
This is a re-make in the same fabric of the dress I posted last week.  I wasn't happy with the waistband and have now figured out how to attach it to the skirt.  I added two tiny rabbit with carrot buttons as a finishing touch.
Coat & Matching Hat
This is the new creation from my sister, Debby.
Can you believe she hand-stitched the design around the ends of the coat ... wow!  I love the matching hat with flowers.

Just put the finishing touch on the owl dress!
