The Language of Flowers

The Talbot County Visual Arts Center
hosted a mix-media art show and reception
last night.  Members and guest could
submit up to three pieces of art.
Of course ... Wilson & I entered the max!
Honorable Mention
for
Fuchsia from Longwood
We were surprised to receive a phone call late
yesterday afternoon saying that Wilson & I both
won a place in the winners circle.
This was a first for me!
 Accepting the Honorable Mention Ribbon.
Water Lily & Dragon Fly
I didn't know which one of my three photo's won.
[Actually I thought this was the photo that took the ribbon.]
Star Gazer's
This was my third submission.
Our friends Lloyd & JoAnn met us there
then we were off to dinner at Brightwell's.
JoAnn taking a look at my photo.
 Water Lily I
Wilson accepted 3rd place for this photo.

I'd rather have roses on my table than
diamonds on my neck.  ~ Emma Goldman
[speak for yourself Emma!]

 One of my favorites.
The Language of Flowers was a very well
received show and the submissions
and talent exceeds all the expectations
of the Arts Center.
