Last sunrise over Leadenham Creek ... September 2012
If it's 7:00a.m. sharp ... it's turkey crossing time
along the shore line of Leadenham Creek.
They saw Tom Turkey for maybe four seconds
at 7:00a.m. ... now they're on a perpetual lookout.
I moved upstairs to my sewing loft & so did the westies.
I had to ask Julep what exactly was she trying to do.
The 'I didn't do anything' expression on Julep's face.
Maybe she wanted to see the three turkey dresses I made.
I finished two more tote bags for my sister.
Did I mention Debby is currently going through
sewing withdrawal while laying on the beach in St. Thomas?
Wilson & I love going out to dinner this time of year
so last night we met Laura & Cary at Pascal's Harbour
Inn & Marina for drinks and dinner.
The clouds were big and ever-changing.
I could have taken a million pictures.
I have no idea who the gentlemen is waving at me and the camera.
Thank goodness Julep & Derby didn't
come with us to dinner. That well behaved
dog probably would have jumped ship for a westie sniff.
Isn't this a cool poster?
Laura gave me one of my very own last night.
She was selected by the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival
as this years festival poster designer.
Pre-dinner Cosmo
Wilson's Oysters Rockefeller
The setting sun on the next to last day of September.
My Cheddar cheese burger & fries.
Wilson, Laura & Cary ordered the Lamb Shank and raved about it.
Today I finished my 30 Christmas stockings
for the Bayside Quilters Outreach commitment.
I had time to make these fancier by adding a row of
decorative stitching in gold thread to the tops.
Hope you had a great day!
I love those turkey dresses and the pre-dinner Cosmo!!
