Today was the day I packed up McKenna nice and neat
so she will be waiting for Tina at the hotel
in Exton, Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
After a year of work it all comes down
to mailing two boxes. I'm not sending McKenna
with as many clothes as I did last year ... because
we have Caroline Abbott who will need items
to go with her when we place her on Ebay.
Of course this is all to benefit the
Westie Foundation of America.
In the middle of everything I finished 3 Halloween dresses
I had on my sewing table.
I also completed this tote bag which
is going to Jocelyn who lives near my sister.
Jocelyn has 5 American Girl dolls!
It will be sad to see our pool being closed for the season on Saturday.
It was a busy day for all of us including the westies.
Wilson & I split up the list of things to do and I took
the westies with me ... which meant they didn't
get their afternoon nap.
Julep ... doesn't want me to bother her.
COUNTDOWN TO VACATION
... Did I mention we're going to Duck? ...
Oh yes ... we'll be heading there soon!
We rented [once again] the home situated on the sound side
of Duck which has a very nice view of the evening sunsets.
Derby made himself right at home on the
table during a nasty thunder storm we had during
our last stay in this home.
We take the westies every place with us while we're in
Duck and by the time we get home they are ready for a nap.
This house is directly on the Old Duck Road and has
a steep driveway. In the morning we go for long walks on the
pathway across the road which is great exercise.
Julep & Derby are happy sitting by the door for hours.
