SEWN ... WHAT'S NEW?

Julep made herself nice and comfy on the pile of
needlepoint pillows which took me countless hours
to make pre-sewing.  I don't have a clue why
she is checking out the ironing board.
I'm guessing ... westie curiosity.

Derby on the edge of the back fabric for a new quilt
I'm working on called Christmas Kitties.
There is a little girl who lives out in Kansas who
loves butterflies so when I saw this 'spring' fabric
on sale I just had to make her something.  The
something turned out to be this dress with the
set of pillowcases below.  I just hope she likes
yellow and purple.
Next trip to Hobby Lobby I'm buying more of this trim!
 Super-cute pillowcases!
I have 3 corresponding fabrics that go with the black-capped
chick-a-dee fabric pictured in the lower left.  Still looking
at pictures and trying to decide what I'm going to do
before I cut it.
Westie pillowcases.  Now I really didn't like this fabric
because I didn't think the colors were great - but using this
for pillowcases is way too cute.  So ... now that I want
more - I can't find it!
 My Facebook group
WESTIES HEALTH -- FROM EARS TO TAIL
reached over 3,000 followers and participants this week.
I'm breaking my own rule about posting pictures that
are non-health related. In celebration I'm doing a give-a-way of
this set of westie cases.  I will be picking the lucky
winner on Sunday - 6:00pm - EST.  So if you are member of
this group all you need to do is simply go to the group
page and leave a comment under the picture of the cases.
I'm working on another auction item for the group
Westie Rescue Southeast which starts in early
October (I think the 6th) ... included will be a
child size apron, an apron for the American Girl doll
and with the leftover fabric I made a matching dress.
I still want to buy some holiday sprinkles and maybe
a cookie mix before I post on their Facebook auction page.
Anything to help those rescues!

Maybe this dress is a little fancy to bake cookies in!
 Derby ... the Inspector!
He let me put the dress next to him
so I took a picture.
It's time for a re-press of the dress!
...
Have a great day!
