Taking the pile of 2-1/2" Xmas strips & creating a quilt

You remember that pile of 2-1/2" Christmas strips I talked
about in my last post ... well here is that mess put together.
I don't say this often but this quilt top just about pushed
me over the edge!  I'm not adding any more rows ... period.

Finishing = a simple border of white with red swirls.
I just ordered that from fabric.com so this should
be complete by next week ... maybe.
Derby started to re-arrange the quilt with his teeth!

 I think I hurt Derby's feelings.
Hey ... this seam is pressed the wrong way.
 Do I smell ... vodka?

Stay tuned to see the completed quilt.
The question is ... what do I do with it when it's done.
Have A Great Day

Thanks For Stopping By

  1. It looks great. We must try that vodka trick when need to press something properly. Have a tremendous Thursday.

  2. I think some of the prettiest quilts my Grandmother made were from scraps. I am sure you will find a use for the lovely quilt.

  3. you work fast. If that was my project all those little strips would still be sitting in their piles.
