Around The House & Frozen Creek

 With the cold and yucky weather the westies are taking it easy.

 Kate Blackwell & Derby

Kate is a writing friend of Wilson's who stopped by for a visit.

Derby fell in love with her & wouldn't leave her side which is unusual.

I've been collecting Paris theme fabric to make Kate a quilt.

 Her husbands daughter [and husband] live in Paris and they are architects.

Kate loves Paris so this was an easy fabric theme.

Now I just need to find a pattern I like and can make.

 This quilt was made specifically for an Arizona westie

organization for a silent auction fund raiser.  

 The theme I was given was westies and spring flowers so for the

backing I picked a bold & bright design by Kaffe Fassett

 I finished making sets of westie flannel pillowcases out of

the one [of two] bolts my sister gave me.  

 Tone on tone little white hearts on the cuff of the case.

I have no time to rest today ... because there are projects to finish
