... And The Quilt Tops Keep Stacking Up!

 Just our girl ... Julep
 Just our guy ... Derby
Introducing my new back-up Janome sewing machine.  I'm
still wondering when my Bernina will find it's way back home.
I have to say at this point I'm getting totally annoyed with the
Bernina dealer so I'm going to stop in there next week
and have a face-to-face about the 'part on order'.  But at least
in the meantime this little Janome sews a straight stitch like
a champ so no complaints in that department.
These quilt tops are just waiting to be quilted ...
which brings me back to ... I NEED MY BERNINA BACK!

A baby quilt for my friend [Gail's] new grand daughter
who was born a little ahead of schedule.   These are the
nursery colors ... orange, gray, black.
Pretty much all the quilt tops you see below will be
donated to various westie rescue groups for fund raising.

A cheater panel and the matching fabric for the back.
Little dogs in sweaters with flowers.

Little black dog holiday quilt.  I used white on white
snowflake fabric that matches the snowflake on the sweater
of the dog.  I know this one will do extremely well for
whatever group gets it.
The dog fabric [and argyle fabric] designed by Michael Miller
and is a new release.
 The stack ... just waiting.
This is the next project I'll be starting on soon.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping in.

  1. Hi there, I'm sorry about the delay with your Bernina. I always wanted one but they were so costly-now I'm happy with my Baby Lock. I do want to ask if Janome's are really expensive. I want to pick up two basic, inexpensive sewing machines for my granddaughters-both 9, so they can come over and sew with me. I know I can get cheap Singers are discount stores but would prefer a better quality-just not expensive.
You'll be sewing before you know it. I'm just now unpacking my sewing room-it is a mess.
Hope you have a nice weekend.
    Hugs, Noreen

  3. wow, the quilt tops are stacking up. You've been busy. Hope your face to face with the Bernina people gets you good results. That would be very frustrating

  4. Love your quilts. Thanks for posting your new little machine you purchased. Might be a great idea for a back up to have on hand. Now to retire so I can get started.
