This past week

This past week was so busy with stuff around the house.
From sewing to cleaning to having repair people in the house
... last week just flew by like a flock of birds.
 Julep
Julep kept the plumber guys company while fixing various
things in various bathrooms ... then she keeping the heating & cooling
guy company while checking our 3 units & getting them ready for winter.
It was a busy and {needless to say} expensive week of repairs.
Derby kept his distance and decided to bark at all the repair
guys from the time they came into the house until they left.
Note:  As of this writing we have not had one offer on our house.
This is a baby quilt I made for my friend Gail who has her
second grand child on the way.  It's a girl and her name will be Rain.
Gray seems to be the new 'in' color for baby's room.

 Working through my dot fabric.

What does the fox say?  Let's go for a picnic in the woods.

I'm not into horses but when I saw this panel and complementary
fabric I knew I had to make this for an old girlfriend who has
taken up riding again.  I'm dying to give it to her but think it's
a little early ... so I'll press it and place it in storage until at least
the end of September.
Have a great day and may all your pastures be green.

  1. It seems like there is always something that needs taken care of when you own a home. Either fixing or improving or just regular maintenance. It just never ends. I like all your quilts and I really like the colors of that baby quilt but it just seems odd to me that people would use gray for a baby. I would think bright colors or even pastels for a baby.
