Winter Jack Bacon

 Meet Mr. Winter Jack
Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack is a seasonal blend of apple cider
liqueur, Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey and
holiday spices.  Winter Jack is best served warm.
Once heated, it has an inviting aroma of warm apple cider,
orange peel, cinnamon, clove and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.
The taste is reminiscent of apple pie complemented with
Tennessee Whiskey and seasonal spices, with a
finish of toasted oak and vanilla.
 Looks Yummy & Tastes Yummy
While I was reading through my blog list one of my blogger
friends mentioned now that the weather was getting cold
it was time to make some Winter Jack bacon.  I had no
idea what WJ was.   This then lead me to a search which in
turn lead me to buying a bottle of Winter Jack to try
this bacon recipe.
Winter Jack is not expensive -- something like $17
per bottle.  It's really cider with a splash of Jack Daniels.
There are a lot of things you can make using WJ ...
like mac & cheese, meatballs and the list can go on and on.
Simply do a web search for WJ recipes.
