While I was feeling better last Thursday I went out to do some
shopping. As a matter of fact one stop was Walmart. These
cute fat quarters came from there. So as it turns out this feeling
good on Thursday turned me right back around to feeling sick
on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and today. This is getting old
really quick. I must admit I feel like I'm turning the corner
once again on feeling better so we'll see.
The fat quarter packages cost $4.88 and that my friends
is an excellent bargain especially if you give everything away.
Instead of putting leftover fabric back into my stash I
decided to make quilt tops for the Outreach portion
of my guild. This in one of them. I do the top and the
binding then I let someone else put it together to quilt and bind.
The quilt top over there on the far right is one I picked
up from the Outreach pre-cut kits at the last meeting. I decided
since I really didn't feel that great and didn't want to do
anything complicated I pulled out my box of 6-1/2"
squares and laid out the top Derby is next to as well as
another which is already stacked and ready
for the sewing machine. It's dog themed fabric.
This is an Outreach top from a pre-cut kit.
This is the finished top that Derby was laying next
to in the above picture. Well, that's it for today. I think
it's going to be simple quilt layouts for a little longer.
