Once there was a curtain hanging on the wall and
... then there was not! We think the banging on the
roof coupled with the drapery rod support not put
in properly plus the leak from the upper window
made for the perfect drapery storm.
Since we had Higgins & Spencer on the phone we told
them we're not happy with our oven. The temperature was
off by about 25 degree's which is not good. When the appliance
guys were here they called the repair guys at the factory so
fingers crossed the oven is fixed.

This Xmas top will be going to Outreach next week.
Then there is ... Derby.
Julep
The next three tops will also be given to Outreach.
I lost count how many tops I've made so far.
This top is so sweet and I am happy I have enough fabric
to make another one.
My sister requested a Paris theme quilt as a gift.
I'm happy with the outcome and color combination.
The back fabric.
Saturday morning bright and early the roofers are coming
to finish up. Hopefully, we'll get the drapery back up
on Monday.

Crash is an even worse sound when it's not an easy fix. Hope you get them back up soon and your oven working right. My oven has always run too hot and it's a pain in the butt.
ReplyDeletethanks Ann - I'm not sure what is worse - too hot or too cold!
