... Derby ...
After taking inventory of my fabric stash Derby
calculated I have more room than I thought
for additional fabric ... hence another fabric
shopping spree is on the schedule for Pennsylvania
as weather permits.
Derby found that right here I could add at least
10 pieces of fabric. He has such a good eye for organization.
I really don't like sewing on 'silky' fabrics and am
not sure why I'm still holding on to the few I have.
I'm in love with www.fabric.com!
My first order from fabric.com & I'm totally impressed & hooked.
The marble fabric was on sale for $4.49/yard. All the rest
of the fabrics were basically the same price as the
fabric outlets in Pennsylvania.
Have I mentioned before I love Sock Monkey fabric?
I'm building up my collection to create a fun quilt just for me.
Fairy Frost in three shades.
This is a great 'general' fabric to have on-hand in your stash.
The stars {far left} was another sale fabric for $4.49/yard.
Spend $35. and shipping is free.
This fabric is what drove me to fabric.com for the
last grand child's quilt. Casey is into dance so this is perfect.
I'm working on the layout and am thinking of keeping this panel
in tack & sewing a sparkle pink Paris border around the edges.

The Sea Turtle Quilt Fabric
Also from fabric.com I found this beautiful sea turtle fabric.
I'm not sure how this quilt will be pieced together
or what complimentary fabrics I'll use with it ...
which is another excellent reason to head to
Pennsylvania for fabric shopping with my sister.
This fabric [and the one above] will be used for the quilt front.
Fabric for the quilt back.
I plan on 2 yards of fabric for the back which makes
a nice size quilt for anyone to enjoy and snuggle under.

Have A Great Day!
You have an awesome fabric stash. We love the fun turtle fabric. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

That turtle material looks like the Newport Aquarium from my Scuba Santa post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend.
