Bountiful ... a Holiday Event

 Vicky [right] asked me yesterday if I would like to

go to the beginning of the holidays event at Bountiful with

her and Sarah [left].  Of course the answer was yes - why not!

While we girls were going thru all the neat holiday

decorations Vicky's husband [Roy] took care of making dinner

for Wilson and Ladd [Sarah's husband].  Roy was cooking a

few racks of ribs - Wilson took mashed potato's & cold slaw as sides.  

 I took all the photo's with my iPhone so of course

the quality isn't the best but you will get an idea

of the beautiful displays throughout the store.

 I don't know who provided the catering but every

thing was excellent. 

 I could have dropped a chunk of money on stuff

 but was in total restraint mode and only came

home with one tree ornament.

 I do love bottle brush trees and should have

got one of those as well ... hope there is some

left after the holidays.

 I love owls and could have purchased this 

one but did not.  Vicky and I plan to go the day

after Xmas to see what's leftover and on sale.

 I thought these were quail but now I'm not sure.

 This squirrel is adorable but I dare not hang

it on the tree because of the westies.

I didn't check the price of this Santa but he was

full size.  Today I took down the Halloween lights

from the porch and I've already started to bring

down boxes of Xmas stuff to start decorating the

inside of the house.  I want to have the tree

up by next weekend.
