Happy Sunday!
This quilt top was made several months ago and I just finished
it for my nephew's girlfriend {Dara}. She is a small animal
vet that also loves horses. I felt this was perfect for her. When
Brie the horse she was riding at the stables came up for
sale she finally made the decision to purchase him.
Made using the leftover fabric from the collection called
"Count Your Blessings". This will be headed to Chris
so the ladies in Outreach can finish. With the soft pastel
colors I think Chris will be giving this to hospice.
This is now off my design wall.
I'm happy the way this quilt top turned out.
Here are the rows sewn together. It needs a border but
I'm not happy with the two samples I have laying on the
left side of the photo. I will need to order something
that will compliment this quilt a little better.
My design wall didn't stay empty for long. Same pattern of
6" blocks but in another color way.
Julep ... keeping me company.
Working with the 6" blocks became a little tedious so I took
a break and made this bright and happy quilt top. It's also
made out of batik fabric and this will also be headed to
Outreach to complete. I'm thinking some teenager will
love this but wherever the universe let's this land is
just fine with me.
As we head into another week of restricted activity
be safe out there and wear your face mask.
It all looks great. You sure do keep busy with the sewing
