Using Scraps for I Spy Quilts

 

My box of 6" squares was so full I decided to deplete

some of my stash by making two quilt tops.  This type

of quilt top is simple and mindless sewing.

I did something different with the blocks by sewing

a 2" border on the top and one side.

A half framed look is what I would call it.

This enabled me to use some of those 2" 

strips I had stashed away.

While these were made with kids in mind I have a ton

more blocks cut that are geared for an adult.  

That will be a project for another time.

While I was cleaning up my sewing room I found

a stack of 10" squares - they are my next project.
