The Flag Quilt

 

The flag quilt front and back.

The flag is a panel which is beautiful standing on its own.

I felt it needed to be longer for the person I was gifting

it to.   I decided on adding a row of French Braid fabric 

to the top and bottom the panel.   To give it just a little

more length {plus anchor the braid} I added a 

row of red/white/blue fabric below the French Braid.

This was gifted to a neighbor {Larry} who is in recovery

from surgery.  His wife {Nancy} sent me several pictures of

him opening the box.  The quilt really looks nice on

Larry's bed.  We send our best wishes for a speedy recover.
