Say It With A Stitch by Henry Glass

"Say It With A Stitch" from Henry Glass is the collection
I received to work on this month.
There are 2 panels with this collection.  Here is the first.

This is the second panel.

My four projects.
I was planning to make the picture of the 4 blocks [above]
and the picture of the 4 blocks [below] into one
long quilt.  I didn't like how it looked ... so the
two sets of 4 blocks will be made into
table toppers for my sewing room.  They still need border fabric
added which I will get too later in the month.

I have to admit I wan't crazy about this collection.  I like
working with variety not just red and white.
Derby
Here are some progress shots.
These blocks are super-sized!  I could have made them
even larger but I was running out of fabric.
Since the weather is going to be nice outside I will take
the final photo's for Jennifer over the weekend.

I'm not sure if Chris can use these for Outreach since
sewing is the theme.  If not, I'll fold them up and
put them in my quilt top storage box.
On another note ...
This weekend we'll be working on taxes which
doesn't make me happy and actually puts me
in a bad mood.   We are trying to all this stuff
done before Wilson goes to John Hopkins
for a cardiac ablation on the 16th.

  1. Very nice. I actually like the red and white. It reminds me of red work embroidery.
I did my taxes yesterday. Mine are super simple though.
