She blooms!
Twice a year this camellia puts on a real show-
once in the spring and now in the fall. She has
a light scent and the bees are having a field
day with all the blooming flowers.
Yuletide Camellia
She is blooming a little early this year.
It's been a real busy week ... decorating, cleaning,
sewing {I was sent 4 collections of fabric to
work with this month] plus a trip to the dentist and
also to the vets with Derby ... then there was moving
a bunch of stuff in the garage to make room for
the delivery guys to take out our old frig and
bring in the new one.
I gave away our big tree and now just have the
two pencil pines by our fireplace.
Meet our new GE frig from the Cafe collection -
this particular model has glass doors.
She was a big chunk of change and I contacted 3
places for price quotes. Two of the places were
within 30 minutes of our home and they were the
highest. One local place didn't install - only delivered -
so we would have to contact someone to install and
take out our old frig [no thank you].
The final place I contacted was located not far
in Delaware - they quoted pretty close to the same
local prices I received ... but there is no sales tax -
free install, $10 to take away the old frig and only
$60 to deliver. Saving on the Maryland sales
tax was reason enough to purchase it from Delaware.
